Behind The Design

Buttero Leather

The Buttero Italian leather is known for its ability to show off its natural hide surface rather than smoothed over one. The leather is obtained from the adult cow's shoulder portion which is durable and is known to be able to keep up scratches and marks and blend it into its sub surface.

Our stitches are embedded into the strap's surface to appear flushed and gives it an ultra neat construction.

Green buttero watch strap from RSM shows Beige nylon stitches to be flushed with the leather surface. The stitches are along a groove pressed prior to stitching. The results is a very clean and neat stitch.

The buttero leather has a fairly consistent coloration with minimal texture on its surface. This reduces distraction from your sports or dress watches while giving you confidence with its minimalistic, modern style.
